Ebrahim Sulaiman Sait was a man of letters. He was an avid reader and used to read extensively when traveling during the course of his work. He purchased close to 10,000 books in his lifetime. He was found of Urdu poetry and literature, and used to always quote poems of Allama Iqbal, Mirza Ghalib and others.
